Gentlemen:

\JIt has just come to my attention that my annuity account with you carries
a wrong Social Security number.  The correct number is 091-09-8617 not
384-46-0240 as it appears on the annual statement that you sent me.  You
can further identify my account by th fact that my checks are sent to me
via my account at the Bank of America, Stanford Branch, Stanford Shopping Center,
Stanford Calif., 94305.

Apparently this wrong number has beeen used for some time, and it may have been
changed during the fall of 1973 when I arranged to have my check sent to my
bank.\.

The above letter clearly states that I am writing about an annuity not an
insurance policy. I was born in Emporia Kansas on Dec. 5 1901.  The
reproduced annual statement (which you sent me) should also help, although
it does not speak well for your records that you cannot find my account
with the information that I sent you.  At least you have never failed to
send my check on time!  It is possible that you might also have me listed
at my former residence 1086 Cathcart Way Stanford, Calif. or at my office
address of Computer Science Dept., Stanford University, Stanford Calif.
